A picture of you in your birthday suit/You sat in the sun on a hot afternoon

Sometimes my creative impulses go in a bunch of different directions all at once. At the same time I was working on a drawing/painting, my mind was wandering toward a photography idea that sprung up earlier this spring. This idea was mixed with inspiration from some really nice photographs a friend had posted on Facebook. I'm still interested in the night time photography, just to see what I can do with it with my mostly automatic digital camera, but added to that is a desire to get some night time architectural shots. I specifically wanted to go to Soulard, where the houses and businesses are so close to the sidewalks and the silhouettes are very different from most other parts of the city. Unfortunately, deciding to do this on a Saturday night was not a good idea; too many people, too many cars, too much activity. Saving that for another time, I took a little stroll around my own neighborhood instead. Walking up the Flora parkway we encountered a lot of rabbits cavorting and prancing around. Unfortunately they didn't let us get close enough for photographs, though I did get this one. It's become more abstract in the editing, but you can still see the glowing eyes of the rabbit.

This reminds me of some old Sasquatch photo or something. Except with a rabbit.

One of my favorite houses on Flora, with the full moon above; in color and black and white.

The S. Grand end of Flora, looking east.

A couple shots of the fountain there in the gate.

And here's the rest, without explanation other than I made Steve pose in a few.

Now, I must get to work on the radio show. And soon, on my first solo DJing gig next week.
